Terms of Service

Plain terms for using the Umbyrx bot and dashboard.

1. Acceptance

These terms cover your use of the Umbyrx Discord bot and the Umbyrx dashboard at umbyrx.xyz. By adding the bot to a server or signing in to the dashboard, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Who can use Umbyrx

You must follow Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. To add or configure the bot in a server you need the appropriate permissions in that server, normally Manage Server. You are responsible for how the bot is used in servers you manage.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not use Umbyrx to break Discord's rules or any applicable law.
• Do not abuse, overload, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the bot or dashboard.
• Do not use the moderation or messaging features to harass people or send spam.

We may remove the bot from a server or restrict access if the service is misused.

4. Availability

Umbyrx is provided as is and as available. It is in active development and may change, break, or be unavailable at times. We do our best to keep it running but do not guarantee uptime, and we are not liable for losses that result from downtime, bugs, or data loss. Features may be added, changed, or removed.

5. Premium and payments

Umbyrx is free to use. Premium is optional and applies to one server. What each length costs and what it adds is on the pricing section of the home page.

• Premium is not sold on this website. You arrange it in the Discord support server, pay by one of the methods offered there, and are given a code.
• The code is redeemed in General Settings on the dashboard, against a server you manage. That is what turns premium on, and it is on for the length the code carries.
• Whoever handles the payment has their own terms and privacy policy. No card details ever reach Umbyrx: we see a payment has happened and issue a code, nothing more.
• Premium does not renew. A code buys a fixed length and then stops. Nothing recurring is set up anywhere, so there is no subscription to cancel and no charge you did not ask for.
• Redeeming a second code adds its time to the end of whatever is left, so buying again early costs you nothing.
• Premium belongs to the server the code was redeemed on and cannot be split across servers. Ask in the support server if you need it moved.
• Premium adds to the free tier rather than unlocking it. When it runs out, your settings and your data stay where they are and the free limits apply again.

6. Refunds

If premium is not what you expected, ask within 7 days of paying and we will refund it in full, as long as the premium features have not been used heavily in that time. Ask in the Discord support server with the server involved and proof of the payment.

• A refund cancels the code and removes the premium it granted from that server, so the two always match.
• After 7 days a code is not refundable, and there is no partial refund for time left on one.
• If you paid and no working code ever arrived, you get a full refund whatever the date.
• The money goes back the way it came. Where the payment ran through somebody else, their own refund rules and timings apply on top of ours, and it can take a few days to appear.
• An unredeemed code is refundable on the same terms. Once it has been redeemed, the 7 days run from the payment and not from the redeem.
• If premium is removed because the service was misused, under acceptable use above, no refund is due.
• Please raise a problem with us before opening a dispute with your payment provider. A reversed payment cancels the code and removes premium from that server straight away, and we may decline to sell it premium again.

If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU you have a statutory right to cancel a digital purchase within 14 days. Premium starts as soon as the code is redeemed, so redeeming it is you asking us to begin straight away and accepting that the right ends once it has been delivered. Nothing here takes away a right you have by law.

7. Your data

What the bot stores and why is described in the privacy policy. Using Umbyrx means you also accept that policy.

8. Third parties

Umbyrx is not affiliated with, partnered with, or acting for Discord, nor for the servers and communities that use it. We do not control what third parties do, and they are responsible for their own conduct.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Umbyrx grows. Material changes will be announced in the Discord support server. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
