Privacy Policy
Effective date: 3 October 2026
Umbyrx stores only what it needs to run the features you turn on.
1. Introduction
This policy explains what the Umbyrx Discord bot and its web dashboard collect, why, and how to have it removed. Umbyrx is designed to be minimal: it does not sell data, does not use third-party advertising or tracking, and does not read message content it does not need for a feature you have enabled.
2. What we collect
- Discord identifiers: server, channel, role and user IDs, used to apply settings and run commands.
- Dashboard sign-in: logging in with Discord uses the identify and guilds scopes to know who you are and which servers you manage. A short-lived session is stored in your browser; your Discord token never reaches it, and we never see your password.
- Module data you create: configuration and records for the features you enable, such as moderation cases and warnings, activity counts (messages and voice time, not message content), leveling xp, economy balances, ticket records and their transcripts, greeting and logging settings.
- Basic profile display: usernames and avatars are fetched from Discord to show in the dashboard; they are not permanently stored.
- Premium: when a code is redeemed we store the code, the server it was used on, the Discord id of whoever redeemed it and when, plus when that server's premium ends. That is what applies premium and what a refund is found by.
3. What we do not collect
- We do not store the content of your messages, except messages inside a support ticket when a transcript is saved for that ticket.
- We do not use advertising, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics on this site.
- We do not sell or rent any data to anyone.
- We never see or store card numbers or any other payment details. Premium is paid for outside Umbyrx and arrives here as a code, so there is nothing to see.
4. Why we store it
Data is stored solely to provide the bot's features: to remember your settings, keep moderation history, power leaderboards and leveling, and run the modules you switch on. Turning a module off stops new data being collected for it.
5. Retention and deletion
Activity history is kept for a rolling thirty days. Everything else is kept while the bot is in your server and the related feature is in use. Removing the bot does not delete your configuration, so re-adding it later picks up where you left off; the data is simply no longer used.
To have a server's data, or your personal data, deleted, ask in the Discord support server and name the server involved so we can find the right records.
6. Sharing
Data is stored with our infrastructure providers, hosting and a managed PostgreSQL database, solely to operate the service. It is not shared for any other purpose. Premium payments happen outside Umbyrx, so whoever you pay holds that transaction under their own privacy policy and we hold none of it. Your use of Discord is also governed by Discord's own policies.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect what is stored, and the dashboard never exposes your Discord token to the browser. No online service can promise absolute security.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as Umbyrx grows. Material changes will be announced in the support server. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
